Travel Advice

As parents, what really makes a vacation or low stress trip, is time to relax. Which can be a challenge when traveling to a new destination or space with a little one. 3 easy tips to make travel with baby less stress, and more fun.

Booking Considerations

If you are booking a place to stay, look for options that don’t have stairs, excessive clutter or decor, or a pool. All of these factors can make it not relaxing.

You can always message the property owner or hotel in advance to inquire about options. Some places will even install safety devices for you, such as outlet covers and cabinet locks. If there is no option for a crib or high chair, consider renting it or bringing travel items like Guava’s travel crib or this portable counter high chair.

Arrive Prepared

Making sure you have a sleep setup and snacks readily available, can reduce a lot of stress and emotions after travel.

To make your arrival a sweet one: rent baby gear that includes setup service, order grocery delivery, include diapers & wipes, and a treat for parents.

Returning Home

My best advice for the journey home, is have a meal waiting in the freezer that can be easily prepared. Whether it’s a short road trip or long travel journey home, having the comfort of food upon arrival always makes for a sweet ending before returning to the daily routine.
